Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program
Our school partakes in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program. This program allows the students to recognize and understand the significance of food through lessons in Cooking, Science, HSIE and Gardening.
Through this program student learn how to plant and maintain fresh produce that is later used in the cooking program, aswell as discover food from around the world.
We currently have school garden and Kitchen spaces we use in our learning conisiting of raised garden beds, fruit trees, outdoor learning space, a chook house and 5 Brown chickens. In our kitchen we have muitlpule ovens, sinks and 2 dishwashers as well as a range of kitchen utensils.
