A lot of our students have unique sensory needs that can really impact how they learn. Studies show that bringing sensory activities into the daily routine can make a big difference in their learning experience. That’s why we use different sensory techniques and programs in our teaching.
To help even more, we’ve set up a Sensory Room. We worked with therapists from Kurrajong Therapy Plus to make sure this space is super beneficial. The Sensory Room has all sorts of sensory equipment suc as:
crash mats, an interactive whiteboard, LED light tubes, sensit chairs, a platform swing, blackout curtains, illuminated water tubes, yoga balls, a cocoon hanging tent, and other specially chosen equipment just for our students' sensory needs.
On top of that, students can also use sensory tools within their classrooms.
